0 Calorie Counting  : Counting calories sucks and most people can't follow it [link]. The good news is that we don't have to as long as we follow the basic principles of  

0.1.2.3. Meal Plan.  A good meal is 

  • 0 Processed Foods. 

  • 1 Serving of whole grain. 

  • 2 Servings of lentils 

  • 3 Servings of vegetables. 

 There is a little bit more detail but just following the meal plan above gets us most of the way there. We include a "reasonable" number of whole fruits, some healthy fat and of course 2 bottles of water over the day. If you are puzzled, this is a pretty good place to start.
